Terms of service

1. Eligibility and accounts

Users must be at least 18, able to enter a contract, and authorized to act for any organization they add. Users must provide accurate information, protect credentials, report suspected compromise, and remain responsible for workspace activity.

2. The service

Marketplace Pilot assists with product intake, photo review, listing drafts, pricing recommendations, performance tracking, experiments, leads, message drafts, follow-ups, and supported integrations. Unless expressly identified as approved automatic sending, changes and communications are prepared for seller review. Marketplace Pilot is not a marketplace, broker, dealer, appraiser, escrow provider, payment processor, or party to a transaction.

3. Seller responsibilities

Sellers must verify product facts, condition, ownership, pricing, availability, warranties, identity, meeting details, payment terms, disclosures, and generated content. Sellers must own or be authorized to use submitted media and data, have authority to process buyer information, comply with law and marketplace rules, and follow Acceptable Use. Sellers remain responsible for listings, messages, appointments, negotiations, payments, taxes, delivery, and transactions.

4. AI and seller approval

AI outputs and comparable-listing information may be incomplete or inaccurate and are not an appraisal or guarantee. Sellers must review material facts and must not use drafts that invent product features, buyer interest, offers, appointments, scarcity, or deadlines. See the AI Messaging Policy.

5. Third-party services

Marketplace Pilot is independent and not endorsed by or affiliated with Meta or Facebook. Third parties control their accounts, APIs, interfaces, approvals, availability, and terms. Sellers authorize only displayed permissions and may revoke them. A third party may reject, restrict, suspend, change, or discontinue access. Marketplace Pilot does not guarantee that a listing, message, connection, or action will be accepted, displayed, delivered, or remain available and is not responsible for suspensions caused by seller conduct or third-party decisions.

6. Customer content and feedback

Sellers retain their content and grant Marketplace Pilot a limited, nonexclusive, worldwide license to host, copy, process, display, and transform it only to operate, secure, support, and improve the requested service. The license ends on deletion, subject to backups and lawful retention. Feedback may be used without compensation, but contributors will not be publicly identified without permission.

7. Marketplace Pilot property

The service, software, interface, models, branding, documentation, and aggregated or de-identified insights belong to Marketplace Pilot or licensors. Users may not reverse engineer, resell, sublicense, defeat controls, or use the service to build a competing dataset or model except where law prohibits restriction.

8. Plans and billing

Founder-preview access may change or end. Before paid plans begin, checkout must disclose price, billing interval, renewal, trial conversion, taxes, usage limits, cancellation, refund policy, and legal merchant. No paid subscription should activate until these terms and required consumer disclosures are implemented.

9. Suspension and termination

Access may be limited or suspended as reasonably necessary for security, illegal activity, policy violations, nonpayment, third-party requirements, or risk. When practical, notice and an opportunity to cure will be provided. Sellers may stop use and disconnect integrations. Post-termination data follows the Privacy Policy and Data Controls.

10. Disclaimers and transactions

The preview is provided “as available” to the extent permitted by law. Marketplace Pilot does not warrant sales results, buyer identity, product quality, delivery, uninterrupted operation, platform availability, comparable-data accuracy, or transaction completion. Parties should verify identities, products, titles, funds, meetings, and payment methods.

11. Liability and disputes

Warranty disclaimers, liability caps, excluded damages, indemnity, governing law, venue, arbitration or court procedures, class-action treatment, and consumer-law carve-outs depend on the final legal entity and jurisdictions. They must be approved by qualified counsel and affirmatively accepted before public or paid enrollment; they are intentionally not invented here.

12. Changes

Material changes receive a new effective date and appropriate notice. Continued use constitutes acceptance only where permitted and after any required consent.
