Marketplace Pilot

Seller-controlled sales assistance

AI messaging policy

Human approval by default

Buyer messages, proposed replies, price movements, appointments, and follow-ups remain drafts until the seller approves them, unless a future automatic mode is separately disclosed, expressly enabled, limited to approved scenarios, and supported by the connected platform. The personal Marketplace workflow does not claim unattended sending.

Truthfulness boundary

The system may use natural language, clear next steps, choice questions, truthful deadlines, confirmed interest, and seller-confirmed scheduling limits. It must never invent product facts, condition, repairs, warranties, buyer interest, offers, appointments, availability, deadlines, or scarcity. Uncertainty should be stated naturally—that the seller will check and confirm—rather than guessed.

Negotiation controls

Appointments and urgency

The system may ask whether morning or afternoon works and then offer an actual available time. Statements such as “I only have two times left,” “other people are coming,” or “I have another offer” require current seller-confirmed facts. The goal is to reduce indecision, not manufacture pressure.

Follow-ups and stop rules

Follow-ups should be limited, relevant, and timed by seller settings. They must stop when the buyer declines, asks not to be contacted, schedules, completes a purchase, becomes abusive, or the listing is unavailable. A seller must review messages involving safety, discrimination, regulated goods, disputes, threats, unusual payments, or material uncertainty.

Learning and evaluation

Marketplace Pilot may compare timing, appointments, outcomes, and seller-approved wording within the seller’s workspace to recommend improvements. Public or cross-customer model training using identifiable buyer conversations requires separate legal review, clear disclosure, and an appropriate opt-in or lawful basis. Recommendations must not optimize for deception, harassment, or unsafe transactions.

No guarantee

Generated content can be wrong and does not guarantee a reply, appointment, price, or sale. Sellers must verify every material claim and remain responsible for the final communication.
