Conversation Importer
Browser extension disclosure
The extension has one purpose: help a seller bring seller-selected or currently visible Marketplace conversation text into Marketplace Pilot for review and reply preparation.
When it runs
It runs only after the seller clicks its toolbar control while viewing a conversation. It has no background service worker and no standing permission to read Facebook or other websites.
Permissions

Data flow
- The seller clicks the extension.
- It reads selected or visible text in the active tab.
- The seller reviews and may edit the preview.
- “Copy & open Pilot” places the text on the local clipboard and opens Marketplace Pilot.
- Marketplace Pilot receives nothing until the seller pastes and confirms the import.
What it does not do
It does not collect passwords, cookies, authentication tokens, browsing history, or unrelated content. It cannot monitor in the background, send messages, publish or edit listings, click Marketplace controls, or represent an official personal Marketplace API connection.
Seller responsibility
The seller must be authorized to process the conversation, remove unnecessary sensitive information, and follow Facebook’s terms and law. Marketplace Pilot may modify or withdraw the extension if platform or store requirements change.
